People at the top of the business world (and even some at the bottom) feel the need to sound a certain way. But trying to do too much with our language is like over-salting a steak or producing a music video for Beethoven’s 5th. Sometimes, you’ve got to let things be what they are. That’s how I feel about corporate communication.

This blog extracts the common phraseology words used by today’s business people, explains why these phrases were ever used, and offers clear, simple alternatives.
